Fishing - Spend a day sea fishing off the coast at Eastbourne. Enjoy fishing in the Lakes of Tenderden Trout Water in the Weald of Kent near Tenterden or Coarse fishing in the Frant Lakes.
Walking and rambling - how about a beautiful 4.5 mile round walk through nature reserves and the wild countryside of Camber Castle Rye.
Golf - Many local courses but the pick of the bunch are Cooden Beach Golf Club, Crowborough Beacon Golf Club, Lewes Golf Club and the Beauport Park 18 hole Parkland course.
Watersports - There are 3 watersport activity centres near Camber Sands Park, so whether you are interested in learning to sail, drive a powerboat, windsurf or waterski, you can find it near Camber Sands Park at Lagoon Watersports, Rye Watersports or the Spray Water Sports Centre.
Eastbourne Pier - another great day out and just a short drive from Camber Sands Park is a visit to the Eastbourne Pier - a mini Blackpool the pier has bars, restaurants, amusement arcades and even a casino. Open all day all year round this makes a great "bad weather" day for the family.
